Using colored counters, ask students to show you three different arrangements that represent 4.

K – NS – OE12

Choose a number between 1 and 4 to start counting backward from. Name a number that you will say later in the counting sequence.

K – NS – OE13

Ask students to choose any number from 1 to 10. Students then count forwards.

K – NS – OE14

Ask students to choose any number from 1 to 10. Students then count backwards.

K – NS – OE15

Name a number. Share a counting sequence that will have that number said right away.
