Two students were asked to draw a line segment. When the teacher compared the two lines, she noticed that both lines were the same length. One student said that the number on the ruler at the end of her line was 10. The other student said that the number on the ruler at the end of his line was 21. Both students measured correctly. How is this possible that their numbers differed?
